Incredibly Encouraging!

I had Derek as a math tutor from middle school through high school. He saved my grades in math and chemistry! Derek is an incredibly encouraging individual. He never gave me answers outright, but rather reassured me that I was capable of finding them out on my own. Whenever I had a bad day, we put the books away for a moment and talked about it, and afterward, I was able to focus better. Derek not only cares about grades, but he also cares about the wellbeing of his students. Both my family and I are thankful for all the help he gave and not only did I get better grades, but I also gained a lifetime friend!
